Palm Springs Police Dept-Citizens Police Academy-Cancelled
Cancelled by PSPD On Tuesday May 05, 2009 the Palm Springs Police Department will begin Class 49 of the Citizens Police Academy. The academy class is held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm every Tuesday night for 13 weeks. The class instructors are Officers and Detectives from within the department and experts in their fields. The class covers a variety of topics including: Patrol operations, domestic violence, crime scene investigations, gangs, narcotics, fraud prevention, use of force, traffic stops, S.W.A.T, K-9 demonstration just to name a few.
The class is open to anyone in the Coachella Valley and several police agencies outside of Palm Springs use this course to train their new Citizens On Patrol Officers.
If you or someone you know is interested in attending and learning first hand how your officers perform their duties and the decisions they have to make on a daily basis then sign up now.
