End of Season Party - April 25, 2010

The who's who of the neighborhood were there--hope you were, too!  Sunday afternoon, April 25th, was the date, and the place was the lovely home of Indian Canyons Neighborhood Organization's Chairman, Philip Brent, and Parliamentarian Bruce Moccia.  ICNO's second social event drew more than 120 neighbors (about double from the first party as more people have joined), and folks new to our community mingled with others who have been here since the first homes were built.  Lots of laughter provided the backdrop while acquaintances old and new sipped cocktails and caught up during the two-hour gathering.  The warm weather, ambiance and food, prepared by ICNO Secretary and caterer extraordinaire Lynn Hammond, were all crowd-pleasers.

Thanks to other ICNO Board members, Terry Daniels and John Day, for greeting guests at the door.  Thanks, too, to outgoing Social Chair Monty Collins who has moved from the neighborhood--but will be welcomed back "home" any time.  This party was his last event, and we'll miss seeing he and Jerry Dark walking their girls, Pride and Joy, along Caliente Drive.  Loretta Wuller and Bruce Moccia have agreed to fill Monty's shoes as co-chairs--and there's already talk of some wonderful, seasonal-themed parties in our future with these two.  Watch for your invitations because we know they'll plan something fun to kick off "the season"--and we'll see you there.
